Idaho State Police responded to a serious incident in Elmore County where a 20-year-old woman was run over by a vehicle after an argument. The woman, who was not tied to the railroad tracks as initially reported, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. The incident occurred on July 3 at around 12:29 a.m. Troopers believe that the victim was struck by the vehicle driven by two women who were involved in the argument. The suspect vehicle was later found by Gooding County deputies parked on the side of the road, and the driver, a 20-year-old Buhl woman, was arrested on charges of felony aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of a crash, among others. The passenger, a 21-year-old Wendell woman, was also arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Idaho State Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
