The Madison County Fair is set to bring a mix of old favorites and new shows to Rexburg, starting on Wednesday, August 14. Kids Day will kick off the fair, with activities catered for children 12 and under. Dig It Days, a popular event where kids can search for prizes buried in sand using construction equipment, will return for its second year. On Thursday, there will be a Best Farmer’s Tan Contest, with cash prizes for the top three winners. Don’t forget to enter the Mullet Contest on Friday for another chance to win cash.
The fair will also feature the District 7 High School Rodeo and the Insanity Fest by Live a Little Productions on Saturday, with mini monster trucks, jet trucks, and lawnmowers. Returning performers Hypnotist Corrie J and Magic Ben will have daily shows, along with new acts from Funny Man Marcus and the Off Axis Stunt Show.
Located at 460 West 2nd North, the Madison County Fair will run until Saturday, August 17. Admission is $2, with gates opening at 9 a.m. For a full list of events and ticket information, visit the fair’s website.
