Three people were killed in a house fire in Concrete, a small town northeast of Seattle. The victims have been recovered, but the extensive damage at the site made recovery difficult. The Skagit County Medical Examiner will release the victims’ names once they are identified. One of the victims was an employee of Skagit County, but they did not work for the sheriff’s office. The cause of the fire is still unknown and multiple agencies, including the ATF, are investigating the scene.
Authorities are looking for a blue 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck that is missing from the site of the fire. It is unclear how the truck is connected to the incident. Witnesses or anyone with relevant information are asked to contact the Mount Vernon police.
The town of Concrete is located about 96 miles northeast of Seattle. The fire occurred on Friday morning and efforts to recover the victims have been hampered by the collapsed structure. Police are working to piece together what happened and are seeking the public’s help in providing any information that may help in the investigation.
