The U.S. Marshals Service Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force successfully located and arrested Austin Allen Genius in Rupert, Idaho. Genius was wanted on a felony arrest warrant for two counts of first-degree stalking issued by the 3rd Judicial District Court in Canyon County and for a parole violation by the Idaho Department of Correction. The arrest was made on August 12 in collaboration with the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office and the Nampa Police Department. The task force is a statewide cooperative effort to locate and arrest violent state and federal fugitives, with member agencies including the Idaho State Police, Idaho Department of Correction, and various local police departments.
