Celebrate Youth is back for its 20th year, bringing families and the community together in Rexburg. The event, organized by Madison School District No. 321, aims to get students excited for the upcoming school year. This year, Celebrate Youth will feature new additions, including student performances by a band, color guard, and dance team. Director of communications Macail Chavez expressed excitement to showcase the talents of the youth and build their confidence. In addition to performances, visitors can enjoy free cookies, browse local vendors, and partake in various games like rock climbing, mini golf, and a mechanical bull.
The event has expanded this year and the school district is seeking volunteers to help make it a success. Those interested in volunteering can contact Chavez at chavezm@msd321.com. Celebrate Youth will take place on Tuesday, August 20, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Porter Park. Attendees can look forward to a fun-filled day of entertainment, activities, and community spirit.
