The inaugural South Fork Music Fest in Ririe this weekend will offer a variety of family-friendly activities in addition to live music performances. The festival, happening at Aspen Grove Inn near Heise Bridge, will feature two stages with 20 bands performing different genres of music. Friday will showcase acoustic acts, while Saturday will see rock and funk rock bands take the stage. Attendees can also enjoy food vendors, fly fishing workshops, and raffles with prizes donated by local businesses. A youth talent show will kick off both days, giving kids a chance to perform. The event will also include speakers discussing outdoor recreation and a dog adoption opportunity by the Snake River Animal Shelter. Camping is available for attendees, with tickets priced at $20 for the whole weekend, free for those under 18. Organizers are excited to see the community come out to support the festival, which aims to test the appetite for an annual music event in the area. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the event’s website or Facebook page. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and take advantage of the shaded areas provided during the festivities.
