The town of Lower Stanley near Stanley, Idaho is under evacuation orders as the Wapiti Fire continues to spread. Idaho Transportation Department has closed State Highway 75 in both directions at Museum, Gateway, and Casino Creek due to the fire’s proximity. As of now, the fire has consumed more than 70,000 acres with no containment efforts in place. Residents are urged to follow evacuation orders and stay updated on the situation as firefighting efforts continue.
