Idaho football will have its third nationally televised game in two seasons, as they are set to face Montana State in Bozeman on October 12. The game will be broadcast on a linear ESPN Network, with the exact network and kickoff time to be announced later. This follows Idaho’s first ESPN linear appearance in over a decade last year, where they faced Montana and Southern Illinois. Head coach Jason Eck expressed excitement for the upcoming game and mentioned that all of the Big Sky Conference linear games under the current ESPN contract have been late evening kickoffs. Additionally, Idaho’s season opener at Oregon will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
The Vandals will be aiming to showcase their talent on a national stage once again. Idaho fans can look forward to watching their team compete in high-profile matchups, with kickoff times and TV networks for the remaining games to be announced as they become available. With the opportunity to play on national television, Idaho football continues to solidify its presence in the college football landscape.
