Idaho men’s basketball head coach Alex Pribble has announced that Luke Chavez and Mark Moore will be joining the coaching staff as graduate assistants for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Chavez, who played under Pribble at Saint Martin’s, has an impressive basketball career with achievements such as NABC First Team West Region and GNAC Unanimous First Team All-Conference. Prior to Saint Martin’s, he also played for South Puget Sound Community College and competed professionally in Panama. Chavez graduated with a bachelor’s degree in educational studies in 2019. Moore, on the other hand, comes from Webster University where he played basketball and soccer while earning academic honors. He has coaching experience at Southeast Missouri State University and his former high school, as well as running his own basketball training outlet, Moore Buckets. Moore received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in sports communication in 2024. Both Chavez and Moore are described as valuable additions to the coaching staff by Pribble due to their work ethic, commitment, and expertise in the game of basketball.
