Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered an apparent lower leg injury in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil. Love was hit by two Eagles defensive players while attempting a pass with six seconds left in the game. He was helped off the field and did not return. Backup quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love for the final two plays of the game. Love had a solid performance in the game, completing 17 of 34 passes for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Coach Matt LaFleur did not provide an update on the severity of Love’s injury after the game. Love signed a lucrative contract in July to stay with the Packers through the 2028 season. He had a successful first full season as a starter last year, throwing for over 4,000 yards and leading the team to the postseason. The extent of Love’s injury and how it may impact the Packers going forward is still unknown. Please check back for updates on this developing story.
