Idaho Swim and Dive team is gearing up to take on Seattle University in a dual meet this weekend, with sophomore standout Ginger Kiefer leading the way after earning her second WAC Swimmer of the Week honor. Kiefer has been dominating in individual events, posting impressive times in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, and 200 IM. Despite a recent loss to Northern Arizona, Idaho showed strong performances with Kiefer and her teammates securing multiple wins and top finishes.
Seattle University, on the other hand, will be looking to bounce back after losses against Grand Canyon University and California Baptist. Idaho has a winning record against Seattle, with the series currently standing at 14-0 in favor of the Vandals. In the WAC standings, Idaho has several swimmers ranking in the top five in various events, showcasing the team’s depth and talent.
The Vandal divers will also be in action at the Lumberjack Diving Invite in Flagstaff later this month. With Kiefer leading the way and the team’s strong performances, Idaho Swim and Dive are looking to continue their success in the pool. Fans can catch the action as Idaho takes on Seattle University in what promises to be an exciting dual meet this Saturday at the UI Swim Center.
