Elise Caffee, a popular mom blogger from Utah, passed away after sustaining severe burns in a car accident in Mexico. Caffee, who ran the Instagram account 3KidsTravel, was traveling to a wedding with her husband when they were involved in a 10+ car pileup, resulting in a truck full of hot asphalt flipping their car and trapping her underneath. Despite the best efforts of hospital workers, Caffee suffered severe burns all over her body. She was transported to a burn unit in Utah and underwent surgery, but ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
Caffee, known for her love of travel and sharing her adventures with her family, leaves behind her husband and three daughters. She believed in taking her children everywhere and continued to travel even after becoming a mother. Her family is devastated by her passing but grateful for the time they were able to spend with her before she died. They plan to hold a celebration of life in her honor.
Throughout her recovery, Caffee received an outpouring of support from her followers and was visited by therapy dogs. She underwent surgery and her family expressed hope for her recovery, but sadly she did not pull through. Caffee’s legacy as an adventurous and loving mother lives on through her blog and social media accounts, where she shared her experiences and encouraged other families to travel and bond together.
