The Idaho men’s basketball team concluded their 2024-25 season with a loss in the Big Sky Conference semifinals, falling to Montana 55-78. Despite a strong performance from Jack Payne, who scored 18 points, Idaho struggled with a poor shooting night from beyond the arc. This game marked the final college appearances for players Julius Mims, Kyson Rose, and Jack Hatten. Head coach Alex Pribble led the team to a 14-win season, the most since 2017-18, and the squad set a school record for made three-pointers in a season with 308. The Vandals’ semifinal appearance was their first since 2017. Mims, in particular, leaves Idaho after a successful two-season career with impressive shooting and scoring averages.
